Confirm the visit
Routine OP consultations are Monday–Saturday, 10 AM–2 PM and 5 PM–8 PM. Sunday is for emergency consultation only, with rotating specialist duty. Call the appointments helpline on 9091 108 108 to confirm your doctor and date. On-call consultants require prior confirmation. Ask about the consultation fee and payment options.
Bring your existing records
Bring relevant prescriptions, previous consultation records, investigation reports and a list of current medicines. Ask reception if the doctor needs anything specific.
Write down your questions
Make a brief note of what you want to discuss and the questions you want answered. You are welcome to ask the doctor to explain anything you do not understand.
Ask about insurance in advance
Contact the hospital before your visit to confirm the insurer or TPA, applicable services, eligibility and documentation. Cashless approval depends on your policy and authorisation.
